CSET EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING PROGRAM RECRUITING YOUTH

Community Services and Employment Training (CSET) is recruiting youth ages 16-21 for a training and employment program, Youth at Work.

Youth at Work provides youth with the tools, resources and support to successfully navigate the world of work.  Participants are given career and education information, leadership training and work readiness workshops.  Upon completion of the training and work readiness courses, youth will have job placement and vocational training assistance available.

During the 2011 program year, 208 Tulare County youth were placed in employment and/or higher education.  Additionally, 156 youth received an occupational skills certificate and/or a high school diploma.  Training is available in fields such as health care, customer service, administrative assistant, recreational aide and many other careers.

“We are excited for Tulare County youth to gain important life skills and work experience,” stated Sylvia Manriquez, CSET Assistant Director.  “Participants will be prepared for a lifetime of successful employment from the training and experience gained through Youth at Work.”

To enroll in Youth at Work or for more information, contact Sylvia Manriquez at (559) 713-5017 or Sylvia.Manriquez@cset.org.
