This activity-based leadership development program relies on the belief that youth learn by doing. The curriculum is designed to be highly interactive and flexible to foster the creativity and full participation of youth. Community-based meetings help youth to take on leadership roles in their community, today & in the future.

A year-long program for youth 10-18 years old. About 240 youth participate each year, 30 in each of eight communities. When youth graduate from the program, they take with them a clear set of educational and career goals, the skills to help them succeed, and the knowledge that they have what it takes to make a difference. Jr. Leadership is active in Visalia, Goshen , Woodville , Pixely ,Lindsay , Ivanhoe, Linnell camp, Cutler/ Orosi, Earlimart, Woodlake and Tipton.
