Although education is not the only pathway out of poverty, it is the most promising for our youth in the Central Valley and particularly, Earlimart.
This initiative is helping to build the capacity in parents within the community of Ealimart. Through workshops and hands on opportunities, parents will be more prepared to engage and actively support the Earlimart School District. Families Improving Education Initiative gives the parents the opportunity to create a positive change, by focusing their efforts in planning a community campaign to educate other parents and students. It also allows them to work together with the School. This collaborative continues its efforts toward the goal of helping students achieve better academic outcomes and life-long successes.
