CSET offers a program that can provide one-time financial assistance to individuals who are facing eviction from their rental home or are behind on their mortgage payments. 

First Time Home Buyer

CSET offers classes that explain the home buying process to individuals who are considering purchase of home.  CSET can also offer gap financing to first-time homebuyers.

Foreclosure Counseling

CSET has counselors who can help homeowners communicate with their lenders to avoid foreclosure. CSET also hosts workshops to explain the foreclosure process to local residents.

Homes for Sale

CSET has two homes for sale to income-qualified first-time homebuyers. This project is part of the City of Visalia Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) program, which provides funding for affordable housing projects for low-income families.

Home Weatherization

CSET provides free home weatherization services to low-income homes throughout Tulare County. Weatherization services are provided with the goal to reduce heating and energy costs by reducing air infiltration. Reducing air infiltration, along with water conservation services, CSET provides leads to improved energy efficiency of homes and lowers utility bills.

Homeless Prevention & Rapid Rehousing

Providing financial assistance for those who need assistance in paying their rent, to avoid homelessness.

Utility Payment Assistance

CSET can pay a portion of your Electric bill or Gas/Propane Bill once per year.
