 Homeless Prevention

CSET offers this program to help Tulare County residents avoid Homelessness. This program can help by paying up to $500 towards the applicant's rent as well as paying arrears.  This program also provides long-term case management and money management services with referrals to other necessary services.  This program is to assist individuals and families maintain self-sufficiency who has hit a small bump in the road.

Rapid Rehousing

The second component of this program offers assistance to Tulare County residents who have been homeless less than 90 days transition back into housing.  Services are similar to the homeless prevention program.

 

Eligibility Guidelines

  • Must have resided in Tulare County for at least 90 days
  • Must fall within income guidelines
  • Rent must be no more than 50% of gross monthly income
  • Must be willing to set goals to obtain self-sufficiency and agree to long-term case management
  • Must provide documentation proving program eligibility
  • Every member of the household must be legally residing in the country and have a social security number.
