Family Resource Centers
The mission of the Family Resource Centers is to promote family success by providing culturally sensitive, comprehensive, and responsive services that meet each family’s unique needs.
Available Resources
Family Resource Centers serve as one-stop hubs, providing families with access to services ranging from nutrition, health, and education to housing, utility assistance, and employment training.
Each Family Resource Center has established partnerships and referral processes with local agencies, food pantries, and faith-based organizations to ensure assistance is provided quickly and efficiently. Services are based on comprehensive needs assessments tailored to each family’s unique history and long-term stability goals.

Family Services
Differential Response: Works directly with families to help keep children safely in their homes.
Parenting Education: Supports families in building healthy relationships by fostering respect, reducing conflict, and strengthening communication skills.
Abriendo Puertas / Opening Doors: An evidence-based parenting, leadership, and advocacy program for parents of children ages 0–5. This First 5 program aims to improve outcomes for children by building parents’ capacity to serve as strong advocates in their children’s lives. Funded by First 5 Tulare County.
