The Back2Work program offers paid transitional employment opportunities for underserved adults. This second-chance program helps participants build valuable work history, develop essential soft skills, and gain hands-on, paid job training.

Veterans receive priority enrollment.

Job Duties

• Safety training in CalTrans

• Chapter 8 Protection of Workers and OSHA safety standards

• Litter abatement and debris removal along highways

• Plant natural vegetation and remove unwanted brush and trees

• Paint over and remove graffiti

• Plant restoration and general yard-work in landscaped areas

• Storm damage repair
