Many of our programs provide financial education for our families, helping maintain strong household budgets and working towards becoming self sufficient.

Tax Preparation

Each year, CSET provides free tax preparation for thousands of families through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Staff and volunteers provide financial education every step of the way, helping families make the best use of their refunds. Our partnership with Golden State Opportunity helps bring free tax services directly to families, ensuring easy access to valuable resources and tax refund information.

Housing Support

Our First-Time Home Buyer Program assists low-income households buying their first home. Our workshops cover home selection, realtor services, lenders, loan programs, homeownership responsibilities, saving for a down payment, and more. The program also offers first time home buyers with education designed to guide applicants as they venture into home ownership.
