Today at 10:00am, TC Hope and Community Services Employment Training (CSET) hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the Visalia Navigation Center, a 100-bed, low-barrier facility with wraparound support services for people experiencing homelessness. Held on the future property site near Glendale Avenue and Court Street in Visalia, the event was attended by more than 120 community leaders, elected officials, philanthropic partners, and local supporters.

CSET is providing free tax preparation services to residents of Tulare County starting February 5, 2024. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program prepares federal and state tax returns at no cost to households with less than $60,000 in annual income. Each year, CSET helps thousands of residents in Tulare County file their income tax returns for free. Additionally, tax preparers can help residents claim federal/state earned income tax credits that may reduce the amount of tax owed or increase their tax refund.
